OMEN OF SORROW 1.12 Minor Features and Balance Update PATCH NOTES:

General Updates

Performing a Bold Cancel during Blessed will now reduce the remaining duration of Blessed.
Priority on throws has been decreased, so that they’re not as overwhelming in neutral.
Retreats can now be performed during blockstun.
Announcer will no longer call out “Counter” when landing a counter hit during a special attack’s recovery.

General Bug Fixes

Fixed a few specific interactions that could sometimes desync an online battle.
Fixed a bug that caused some character’s hurt boxes to reshape incorrectly during some reactions.

Gabriel

Longinus: significantly increased recovery.

Radegonda

Wille Zur Macht: is now more effective at stopping other projectiles when clashing shortly after spawning.

Dr. Hyde

Crouching LK: can no longer cancel into itself. Can now cancel into specials.
(→ + HK): added new cancel routes on block.
Running LK: can now cancel into specials.
Standing HK: added new cancel routes on hit and special properties on counter.
Standing HP: added special counter hit properties when fully charged, and adjusted those properties when not.
Standing LK: can no longer cancel into itself. Can now cancel into specials.
Brewing the Pain - Huntington: lowered Decimation Gauge cost.
Chemical Rage - Form Ω: lowered Decimation Gauge cost.

Vladislav III

Modified properties and damage on all his chain-extenders. Nerfed the overall chain.
Nerfed normal throws so that they are less dominant in footsies.
Vae Vectis: hitbox has been adjusted so that it can be dodged by crouching.
Contra-Tempo: hitboxes have been adjusted to more consistently land both hits.

Zafkiel

Standing LP: delayed the cancel window. Adjusted knockback.
Aria-Cantabile and Aria-Cabaletta: will now work against projectiles.
Canto de Chrysaor: is now stronger against other projectiles on clash.

Arctorious

All of Arctorious’ parries and counters will now increase his power up state when successful. It has been made more visually clear when this happens.
Standing HP: added new cancel routes on hit and block.
Standing HK: added new cancel routes on hit and block.
(← + HK): granted better juggle properties on hit.
(← + HP): extended the range from which it can parry.
Running LP: can now parry projectiles.
Running HK: improved juggle potential on hit.
Running HP: increased guard break stun against Doomed opponents.
HK Stance - HK: has been granted a projectile invulnerability window.
HP Stance - HK: has been granted a projectile and throw invulnerability window. Increased advantage on hit.
HP Stance - LK: invulnerability window has been lengthened.
LP Stance - HK: has been granted a projectile and throw invulnerability window. Added new cancel routes on hit.
LP Stance - HP: has been granted a projectile and throw invulnerability window.
Sword of the Fae (HP): increased the juggle effects for the powered up versions of the attack. Increased hitbox size to better perform as an anti-air.
Will of the Fae: knockback for the powered up versions works differently now, allowing for more space control in neutral. The projectiles now last longer. Lowered the required held input time.
Sword of the Coward (EX): lowered Decimation Gauge cost. Extended counter window and range.

Imhotep

Standing LK: increased knockback on hit.
Crouching HP: added new cancel routes on hit and block when released early.
Crouching LP: added new cancel routes on hit.
(← + HK): added new cancel routes on hit when released early.
Form of Osiris (neutral) HP and HK attacks can now cancel into Sands of Set on hit and on block.
Standing HP: adjusted knockback and added new cancel routes on block.
Armies of Anubis (EX): adjusted hitbox on the minion’s beam. Changed juggle properties and added juggle properties when hitting airborne opponents.
Sword of Shu (EX): adjusted juggle properties to make combos in Form of Osiris easier.
Sword of Shu (HP): increased hitbox size.
Armies of Anubis: shortened the range in which they can trigger a proximity defensive stance.
Flame of Khepri: is now weaker against other projectiles on clash.

Quasimodo

Jumping LK: added new cancel routes on hit.
Jumping LP: added new cancel routes on hit.
Standing HK: increased active juggle time on the opponent.
Standing LK: can now cancel into specials on hit and block.
Standing LP: added new cancel routes.
Crouching LK: can now cancel into specials on hit.
(→ + HP): increased hitstun and damage when landed as a counter hit.

Adam

Normal Throws: fixed knockback against the corner.
Standing LP: delayed the cancel window for rapid fire version.

Erszébet

(↘ + HP): improved juggle properties when hitting airborne opponents and when connecting as a counter hit.
Hemo-Lacerta: improved juggle properties.
Hemo-Lacerta (HK): increased range.
Amor Septos: now steals and generates large amounts of Decimation Gauge.

Thalessa

Most of the projectiles spawned from Thalessas’ normal moves will now lose out to other projectiles on clash.
Some of the projectiles spawned from Thalessas’ normal moves will become inactive if she is struck after they have been spawned.
Litamu: will now go through other projectiles, destroying them on clash.

OMEN OF SORROW 1.11 Artificial Intelligence PATCH NOTES:

Updates

- The game’s entire AI has been redone from the ground up, greatly improving
it’s behavior with all characters and in all difficulty levels.
- A new “Omen” difficulty level has been added.
- Reduced the minimum time required for dialogue boxes to be skippable during
Story Mode.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed several SFXs and Voice Overs being missing from various throw attacks
and their reactions.
- Fixed Vladislav III having misplaced hurt boxes during juggle reactions.
- Fixed Thalessa’s throne remaining longer than intended in some situations
when she is no longer crouching.
- Minor aesthetic fixes in a few animations.
- Aesthetic fixes to some GUI elements in menus and character select.

OMEN OF SORROW 1.10 “Hotfix 6” PATCH NOTES:
Bug Fixes

- Fix Erzsébet Super 2 damage in cinematic animation.
- Bugfix on Hyde's projectiles debuffs.
- Fixed crash with timer setted on "no limit"
- Now Arctorious cannot do "Bold Cancel" when doing EX that
cut the screen in half.
- Added all missing stances for triggering Super 2 follow-up
- Fixed a bug preventing Draculesti from prorating correctly during combos.
- Removed music when playing videos from gallery.
- Fixed Quasimodo's "Credo de la Sentinele" being able to trigger it's
followup in an unintended situation and much later than the the hit.
- Sound FX fixes
- Fixed a bug preventing a character to consume their sigil to enter
Blessed while under the effects of Impending Doom.
- Fixed a bug that caused a threat area to appear inside of QSM's
Super 1 bell, unintendedly causing the opponent to defend when pressing backwards.
- Added missing timer for character select on online matches.

OMEN OF SORROW 1.08 Update 2 PATCH NOTES:

Updates

- Updated character portraits.
- Updated Sigil GUI assets.
- Added a loading symbol to the end of the versus screen when playing
online, for cases were the user is ready but the opponent is not.


Bug Fixes

- Fixed some missing VFX assets in a few attacks.
- Fixed a lightning issue in Imhotep’s “Eye of Ra” Decimation Move.
- Fixed a cut in the fog animation of the “Frozen Regret” stage.
- Minor adjustment to prevent a (breakable) infinite against Caleb when cornered.
- Fix time in stage for imhotep, special 1 projectiles.

OMEN OF SORROW 1.06 “Update” PATCH NOTES:

Updates

- Updated loading methods in order to significantly reduce
loading times between fights and game modes.
- The game’s music has been remastered.
- SFX fine tuning on various character navigations.
- Tweaked some of Thalessa's projectiles so that they'll be
less advantageous on block.
- Added additional anti-air invulnerability frames to
Caleb's "Jubilation"
- Gave additional projectile invulnerability to Adam's
“Donner” (LK version).
- Added a wider projectile invulnerability window to
Caleb's “Hope” (HK version).
- Shortened Zafkiel's EX Principal's total juggle frames.
- Tweaked Zafkiel's overall damage output.
- Reduced the input buffer window for reversals out of block and
hitstun. This should result in better control and less
accidental inputs.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed some attacks that had missing SFXs.
- Fixed the game not properly keeping track of a held axis
direction when unpausing the game.
- Fixed a bug causing the Fate/Fortune gauge to misbehave on
Training Mode with a specific sequence of training option changes.
- Fixed a bug that transferred damage buffs from high Fortune onto
the Blessed state.
- Fixed a bug that caused character illumination to sometimes
misbehave in Story Mode.
- Fixed a bug causing knockdown reactions to misbehave when the hit
causing the knockdown was lethal. This was most apparent when
ending a round with Arctorious’ EX Sword of the Fae against an
airborne opponent.
- Fixed an issue causing Quasimodo's running HK to sometimes not
properly hit Adam.
- Fixed an issue causing Adam's forward jumping HP to randomly
crossup on Caleb.
- Fixed the hitboxes on Caleb's EX Hope so that they're the same as
in his Bold Counter.
- Fixed an issue with Adam's and Dr. Hyde’s Bold Counters not having
the right Fortune gain and invulnerability during startup.
- Fixed Dr. Hyde’s Applied Mixology and Bold Counter causing an
incorrect reaction animation on the opponent when hitting them
on the floor.
- Fixed Dr. Hyde’s hurt boxes becoming active later than intended
after a knockdown.
- Fixed Vladislav III not properly reacting to Quasimodo’s
“Credo de L’ ingénieur” (LP Air version).
- Fixed Quasimodo’s “Canon de L’ ingénieur” Decimation move so it
doesn’t miss on crouching opponents.
- Fixed a bug causing Zafkiel’s illumination to misbehave when her
Cadenza de Zafkiel (Finale) Decimation move was interrupted
during startup.
- Fixed an issue causing Arctorious to sometimes become temporarily
stuck after parrying multi hit attacks.

Bug Fixes

- Bug fixes in the HUD and other GUI elements that could
sometimes cause crashes during loading screens.
- Fixed an issue causing Dr. Hyde’s footstep SFXs to
remain stuck in a loop in some stages.
- Fixed an issue with the voice overs for Gabriel’s
and Zafkiel’s victory animations.
- Fixed an issue causing stuck SFX loops in some of
Imhotep’s projectiles.
- Fixed Imhotep’s Sword of Shu and Flame of Khepri special
moves having their names swapped with each other in
the command list.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed Caleb sometimes becoming stuck after connecting his
Dreams of Leisure decimation move.
- Fixed Caleb’s EX Serenity followup attacks not playing any
sound when executed using the LP or HP buttons.
- Fixed a bug that could rarely cause the game to crash when
inside a Lobby.
- Bug fixes in some GUI elements that were possible causes of a
few very rare game crashes.
- Fixed Vladislav III’s “Vae Victis” special move being incorrectly
named “Imbrocatta” in his command list.
- Fixed Vladislav III failing to teleport when using In Ictu Oculi
(HP and HK versions) after hitting the opponent with Vae Victis
from the ground.
- Fixed Radegonda’s opponents incorrectly playing their reaction
when hit by Das Ewig-Weibliche β.
- Fixed Adam failing to execute an attack performed as a Bold Cancel
from the final hit of Bolzen.
- Fixed Gabriel’s victory animation having no sound.
- Fixed Radegona's Bold Counter not granting bonus Fortune on hit,
and behaving incorrectly when performed from blockstun.
- Fixed a bug causing some projectile sounds to remain playing after
the projectile having been destroyed.
- Fixed Erzsébet becoming briefly stuck without collisions when holding
a direction after performing Passio Phtisis.
- Fixed some minor contact particle glitches.
- Removed translations of “Game Over”, it should now be properly
displayed as “Game Over” in all localizations.

OMEN OF SORROW 1.03 “Hotfix 2” PATCH NOTES:

Updates

- Removed heavy blizzard effects from the Frozen Regret stage during
online gameplay.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed a bug that could sometimes crash the game during loading screens.
- Fixed a bug that could very rarely crash the game when spawning
a projectile.
- Fixed a bug causing players to sometimes become stuck in Character Selection,
when trying to select from their Favorite Characters.
- Reordered a couple misplaced cutscenes in Story Mode.
- Fixed a bug in the VFX spawn system related to projectile VFXs.
- Fixed a bug with navigation inside the Gallery, that could sometimes
cause the player to get stuck.

crouching Caleb.
- Fixed Caleb’s Jubilation not having anti-air properties.

- Fixed some misplaced SFX loops in Story Mode.

OMEN OF SORROW 1.02 “Hotfix 1” PATCH NOTES:

Updates

- Entering the state previous to falling into the Doomed condition while
receiving a combo, no longer forces a character into a knockdown. Instead,
this state begins after the combo has ended, and it’s duration
has been increased.
- Updated properties in some of Imhotep’s attacks.

Bug Fixes

- Fix story mode bug, that open the wrong level on second and third branch.
- Some interactions that could rarely cause the game to crash have been fixed.
- Fixed projectiles able to receive hits having active collisions longer
than intended when being destroyed.
- Minor GUI problems in Story Mode.
- Fixed cases were projectiles could become stuck between fights in
Survival Mode.
- Fixed normal throws being escapable in some unintended situations.
- Some missing textures in Story Mode restored.
- Fixed some attacks having unintended properties.

OMEN OF SORROW 1.01 “DAY 1” PATCH NOTES:

New Features

- Added different Online Gameplay Modes and Features, which include:
- Quick Play gameplay mode.
- Ranked gameplay mode.
- Online Lobby System, which supports up to 12 players in a session
and features a custom chat system.
- Player Profile System for in-game matchmaking, which includes
unlockable Game Titles and Avatars, as well as the ability to
set your favorite characters.
- Ranked League System and Leaderboards.

- Added the ability to unlock online related trophies and in-game rewards.
- Added a “Statistics” menu to view different gameplay stats, such as
most used characters and overall win ratio, for all offline and
online gameplay modes.
